ABOUT ME

My name is Przemysław Jagodzik and as a scientific worker of BioInfoBank Institute in Poznań participate in the in the project IET (PICO-2015-16) aimed in creation of the innovative anticancer pharmaceuticals characterized by high effectivity and selectivity with accompanying minimalized side effects of the foreseen therapy. Moreover I am PhD student in Biotechnology at Adam Mickiewicz Univeristy in Poznań, Poland.

    So far I have gained the following professional skills and practical experience in the field of:
  • bacterial (Esherichia coli, Agrobacterium thumefaciens) yeast (Sacchamoryces cerevisiae) and plant transformation (Arabidopsis thaliana)
  • DNA cloning
  • site-directed mutagenesis
  • overexpression in E. coli
  • recombinant proteins extraction and purification
  • column chromatography and HPLC (SEC, HIC, Dextrin Sepharose, nickel-charged affinity resin)
  • isolation and transfection of protoplasts from A. thaliana leaf mesophyll tissue and suspension cultures for transient expression assays
